The
SVP
The
Society of St Vincent de Paul is an international organisation of men
and women who practise Christianity by helping those in need on a person-to-person
basis.
It meets fortnightly in the Pastoral Centre on Thursday evenings to
pray and consider the needs of suffering or deprived people in the area.
There is also a Junior SVP group in the Parish, which meets occasionally
on Sunday afternoons.
New
members of both groups are always welcome and anyone who is interested
in joining this worthwhile work may obtain more information from the
