SENIOR SOCIAL CLUB

It is a “Family Club” with the minimum rules and regulations when compared to a professionally run club. We try to replace “Order” with “Love and Respect” and so far it seems to be succeeding.

The club opens every Wednesday from 1.30pm to 4.00pm. Our member’s ages range from 65 years to over 90 years.

Most Wednesdays we have Line Dancing and Keep-Fit exercises. All types of card games, Scrabble, Board Games etc., are played together in an endeavour to ensure that nobody gets isolated and without company.

We also have two games of Bingo and a raffle, all of which are free with tea and biscuits. We try to have three outings per year, finances permitting.

We cater for approximately 6-8 lunches per year, plus a Christmas celebration.

Subscriptions are £4.50 per year plus a 50p fee per week.
